Climb in Andorra

Climbing routes in Andorra la Vella:

· Solà d'Enclar: this is the place with more climbing routes of the entire country. It is located at 1,100 height meters to the South, South-East. Here you can come to practice during the whole year. It has 4 climbing sectors called the Cementiri, Bigabloc, Esfinx and Santa Coloma. The material of the climbing routes is made of granite. There are parabolts and anchorages with chemist. Difficulty: from 4 to 7.

 

· Llastra de l'Obac: this is a flat rock located to the North. It only has 3 climbing routes. We recommend you to come here better those dry days, because it's full of vegetation. The rock in here is chalky. There are anchorages with chemist. Difficulty: from 5 to 6b.

 

· Pirámide: this is an impressing 150 meters height wall located at 1.200 meters to the South, South-East. Here you can climb during the whole year and you can enjoy the sun during almost the whole day. The rock is made of granite and there are parabolts. Difficulty: from 4 to 8a.

Climbing routes in La Massana:

· Sant Antoni de la Grella: here there are two sectors and it is located at 1,150 meters to the East. It's beautiful because next to it there is the Valira del Nord river. There are parabolts and anchorages with chemist. The rock is chalky. Difficulty: from 5 to 7c.

 

Climbing routes in Escaldes-Engordany:

· Roc de la Guilla: this is a 1,400 height meters climbing route located to the West. It has 3 sectors: the Rebedor, Fa Temps and Can Caire. It's rock is made of granite, there are parabolts. Difficulty: from 5 to 7a.

 

· Agujas de Engolasters: these are "needles" with a height of 15 to 30 meters. It is located at 1,740 meters to the North-West. From here you'll have a wonderful view to the Andorra valley. The rock is granite. There are parabolts. Difficulty: from 4 to 6b.

 

· Boulder de Coll Jovell: here there are small walls (no more than 18 meters height) located at 1,620 meters to the North-West. You can stop to have a snack or drink from the fountain in a place special for it. There are 5 sectors: Figa, Festa, Del Sostre, Frankfurt and Can Faltegan. There are anchorages with chemist. The rock is granite. Difficulty: from 4 to 8a.

 

Climbing routes in Canillo:

· Cascada Riu d'Urina: this is a wonderful place at 1,150 meters, to South-East, with a cascade in the middle of the wall. The rock is made of chalky and there are parabolts. Difficulty: from 3 to 6a.

 

Climbing routes in Encamp:

· Pico de Ríbuls: this is a 2,780 meters peak located at the end of the Pessons circle, at the Ríbuls Peak. Due to its height, in summer you'll find low temperatures. It's granite rock and there are pitons. Difficulty: from 5 to 6a.

 

Climbing routes in Ordino:

· Balma de Arcalís: from the Arcalís station you can admire this 2,520 meters wall. Its good situation to the South-East allows us to enjoy the sun from early in the morning. The rock is made of slate and there are parabolts and pitons. Difficulty: from 5 to 6a.

 

· Arcalís sector Creussans: it is a small wall located at 2,350 meters to the South-East. It's chalky rock and there are parabolts. Difficulty: from 5 to 6b.
